Day 7

(my view)

Day 7 in Cape Town, South Africa. Wow, am I really here? Is there really a view of Table Mountain infront of my room window? Thank you Lord! I am humbled and blessed.

Having the opportunity to come to South Africa is huge.

A great thanks to a good friend of mine Michael McCloud who told his agency, 20 Management, about me. They loved my look, next thing you know, I'm on a plane.

It's not easy leaving everything behind especially when you have the man of your dreams waiting for you at home. It is by far one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

To chase a dream it takes heart, passion, courage and sacrifice. The reward of doing what you love makes all the hard work worth it and gives you a taste of what you're really capable of. The sky is limitless.

I'm still climbing my way to the top, inch by inch. "Success is sweet: the sweeter if long delayed and attained through manifold struggles and defeats." - A. Branson Alcott

I'm here to work hard and have fun along the way.

I can't tell you how beautiful it is out here. And I haven't even begun to explore South Africa! The energy is free and cool. The air is fresh. Tap water is good! That's always a plus. It's a country you must visit once in your life. I'm sure I'll say that about MOST places I visit. Even if it's "bad" it's still amazing to have the opportunity to see it. There's much to explore in the world and I'm just begining.

I'm staying in a lodge near the Center City. Everyone on my floor has their own room and bathroom while we all share a kitchen. At first I wasn't too sure about this place, but luckily everyone has been very nice and welcoming. So, it's worth giving it a shot and making the best of it.
